Strategy

  • Integration of the ESD guidelines promoted by UNESCO at the educational planning level (both collegial and disciplinary)
  • Special restructuring of the Department of Civic Education and creation of a vademecum (in Italian) for teachers with UNESCO learning objectives for the SDGs
  • Teacher training on ESD
    • guided introduction to the new templates (for teaching activities) and related structure of educational planning
    • elaboration of a self-paced course through the Moodle scholastic platform regarding the fundamentals of ESD (mission of the Global Schools Program, psycho-pedagogical principles of ESD, ESD lesson planning, and ESD activity guides)
    • development of an educational structure for SEL: DBT Skills Training for teachers by Dr. Davì
  • Shared workspaces for constant monitoring of ESD teaching activities and data collection for self-assessment and further development over time
  • Configuration of the Casnati for ESD program
    • development of the structure and content of the Casnati for ESD website in two languages ITALIAN-ENGLISH
  • Organization of peer-to-peer and extra-curricular activities to promote the SDGs with school-wide action (➡️ Our Portfolio)
  • Adaptation of the curricular laboratory activity of audiovisual and multimedia disciplines (Art high school) to support the creation of audio and video content for the Casnati for ESD
  • Readjustment of the activity of English Language curricular laboratory (Language high school – Translators and Interpreters Course) to support the translation into the foreign language of Casnati for ESD‘s articles and realize subtitles for the multimedia content (➡️ NEWS – Casnati for ESD translation workshop)
  • Integration of curricular theatre activity with SEL
